I can't find that in my Bible!

Lets just say Gavin has been having some discipline issues. We were having a discussion a few days ago about obeying Mommy and Daddy. I was really trying to get my point across.....so I told him that it says in the Bible that you should obey your Mommy and Daddy and that makes Jesus happy. To which Gavin replied..."Mamaw told me the same thing, but I can't find that in my Bible". Apparently, he doesn't think it says that in his Bible so he doesn't have to follow that commandment.

When we were at my Mom's a few days ago he was watching tv. A commercial came on and he said "fas fowar mommy, no lika mercials". For those of you who don't have small children--the translation is "fast forward Mommy, I don't like commercials". When I informed him that we can't fast forward through the commercials at Nanu's house....he simply asked "why?". Gotta love DVR!!!!
