Cades Cove!

We went to Cades Cove on Thursday and it was beautiful! We had a great time and saw tons of deer.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!!!

So, we had a big week. We went to the pumpkin patch and Gavin and Daddy carved a pumpkin. Daddy had to find the perfect pumpkin for carving while Gavin's mission was to find the smallest pumpkin available. We had so much fun......I think Gavin's favorite part was the hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch!

Gavin's 1st Fishing Trip!

Gavin went fishing with his Daddy, Pawpaw John and "Old PawPaw" (Eric's Grandpa) today. Four generations of Gifford men all fishing together!! He had soooo much fun. As he said "those fishes were jumpin all over the place!!!!"

Gavin and Nolen's Cousin Ayla!!

Ayla is already 6 months old! Krista is an even better Mommy than I imagined. She is sooooo adorable that I had to post a couple of pictures of her.

My Hubby's Houses!

Eric is almost finished with his first 2 houses. I am so proud of him.....they look awesome!!!! These are a few pics of them. The last one is a little lake with a waterfall that is in the subdivision.

Call me "Cowboy Gavin"

We have a serious cowboy in the house. Gavin is convinced that Papaw John (Eric's Dad) is buying him a black horse whose name will be "Bucky". He has requested to be addressed as "Cowboy Gavin" from now on. He has new John Deere cowboy boots, a vest, rope and a men's size small cowboy hat to fit his big head (thanks to President of the Big Head Club, Daddy). He even has the lingo down.....his favorites are "Howdy Pardner" and "YeeeHawww Cowboy". I am pretty sure Daddy is hoping he outgrows this stage and moves on to something like surfing, golfing or football. Gavin is hilarious.....some pics and video.

Nolen

Nolen is officially 9 months old already! He weighs about 22 lbs. He is doing his soldier crawl, which is hilarious. He pulled up for the first time Monday on our ottoman, so we lowered his bed Monday afternoon. He is getting so big and grown up! I have attached a video of him crawling, and some pictures of him.

After seeing how everyone else is starting blogs, I thought I would join in. I figured it would be a great way to keep everyone posted on what is going on with our little family.
