I can't find that in my Bible!

Lets just say Gavin has been having some discipline issues. We were having a discussion a few days ago about obeying Mommy and Daddy. I was really trying to get my point across.....so I told him that it says in the Bible that you should obey your Mommy and Daddy and that makes Jesus happy. To which Gavin replied..."Mamaw told me the same thing, but I can't find that in my Bible". Apparently, he doesn't think it says that in his Bible so he doesn't have to follow that commandment.
