Home Sweet Home!

We went "home" to Destin for a MUCH needed vacation. The first part of the vacation was a little crazy. Eric had his 10 year high school reunion and my Mom had a family reunion at her house with her kids and Harry's kids.
Eric's brother and his family (http://www.littlegiffords.blogspot.com/) went too and we all had a great time! We stayed in Blue Mountain Beach on 30A, it was so beautiful and quiet (I highly recommend this area).
We also got to spend some time with Eric's sister and her family. There was one day at the beach with all of Eric's siblings and my siblings and all of our kids....I think we counted 14 kids total!!! We did not want to leave......

First Day of Mothers Day Out!

So.....this is a month of firsts.

For the 1st time in 4.5 years
-we do not have a crib in our house
-we do not have anyone in diapers
-we do not have a high chair in our house
-I have 10 hours a week where I am not "in charge" of my children

Kind of sad....but no diapers is nice (Dear Target...I miss you too).

Gavin started his 3rd year of MDO (he cried at open house) and Nolen started his 1st year of MDO (he didn't cry at all and wanted to stay).

They have been going for a few weeks now and both have been doing great!

For those of you who are wondering....

I am not pregnant.

I found out last Friday, September 4th after a ridiculous amount of waiting. We were in Florida getting ready to start our vacation. I must say that a week on the beautiful beaches of Destin definitely helped my attitude. Friday was a rough day but now we are deciding when to do surgery....we are thinking October. I will keep you posted...

I cannot tell you how much all of the phone calls and prayers have meant to me. I am so thankful for my family and friends!!
