Just have to share a few of the funny and sweet things Nolen has been saying lately.
Every night when I put him to bed I have to stand at the door and he says...."Mommy, I wuv (love) oooh (you) bidder (bigger) ocean, bidder skies bidder whole y (wide) woildd (world)." I stand there and hold back the tears....every night.
Today he told Turbo (our dog)...
"Turbo, I smell u butt....u stink." I couldn't agree more...he got a bath tonight.
Nolen is VERY particular about his "poo". He sits on the potty and I have to squat down in front of him and put my hands on his knees. He grunts and carries on....BUT if I try to look over his shoulder into the toilet (yes....Moms do that to see if they have actually went) he freaks out. Yesterday, he grabbed my face and said "Mama, I don't wike (like) it when oooh (you) wook (look) at my poopie. Don't wook (look) at my poopie anymore."
He is unashamed....he will tell anyone who asks that he is "mommy's boy". Thank you Jesus because Gavin is and always has been Daddy's boy!
So....there you go. I love him....he melts my heart.

The BEST husband EVER!!
So what?.....I'm 30. What's the big deal? I look exactly the same as I did when I was 18--at least in my mind. I have the hottest husband ever and the 2 most beautiful boys....and if I wasn't 30 then I wouldn't be right here...with them.
Anyways....back to my husband. Being the fabulous husband that he is....he surprised me with a trip to New York for my 3oth birthday!!! He planned the whole thing all by himself (with a little help from our personal guide-his brother Sean). He knows me so well that he read my mind and knew exactly what I would want to do. I know him so well that I had a hunch that we may be going to New York (I did not snoop at all--I am just smart).
We flew out Friday morning at 6 a.m. on a direct flight to NY and were there by 8:30 a.m. We dropped our stuff off at the hotel and then went straight to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, then we went on a pedicab ride through Central Park. That evening we got all dressed up and went to dinner at a fancy restaurant and then went to Wicked--amazing!!! Saturday we got up and headed to ChinaTown and Soho for a day of walking, shopping, eating and did I mention walking? My feet were KILLING me! I got some amazing deals (I will post a picture of all my purchases)...it was so fun. We came back and watched the Florida v UT game at the ESPN Zone in Times Square and then went and walked more and ate more. Sunday we got up and went back to SOHO and then went to the World Trade Center Site and Battery Park and walked and walked and walked. We flew home Sunday night and were soooo tired.
This was the first time that I have been out of town away from the boys and we missed them like CRAZY! It was so great though to be together and I really do have the best hottest husband ever. THANK YOU GOD....I am sooo blessed.
Eric turns 30 next year and I have a lot to live up to.
At Toys R Us in Times Square (for the boys)

Wow....am I glad thats over!!
So....the surgery went really well. I did not see Dr. H the entire time because I was completely out of it when she came in and was still out of it when she left. She did, however come out and talk to Eric. I will get all the details at my post op appoinment in about 10 days but from what Eric said it went really well. He said she showed him pictures....yuck!
Anyways...I only had endometriosis on one side which is really good considering that I had surgery 6 years ago and it was everywhere. I did have 2 cysts on the other side though...which she removed. She said that she definitely thinks that the cysts were keeping us from getting pregnant and that one of them was pushing on my tube.
Our best chance for getting pregnant on our own is this month. I am PRAYING that I feel up to trying because I cannot tell you how much I would love to get pregnant on my own. If it does not happen this month then we will start fertility treatments again next month.
Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers....it means so much to Eric and I. I am definitely more sore than I remember being last time. My shoulder has been hurting really bad which is from all the air that they pump in you....not fun. I can't stand up straight and my belly button hurts. To top it all off I can't pick my boys up for a week!!!
Gavin and Nolen were so sweet to me yesterday when I got home. They wanted to see my "booboo". They went and got me dinner and brought it back to me and then all my boys went to church. When they got home Nolen said "Mommy, does you booboo feel better yet? Did you eat you food? I wuv (love) ooo (you) Mommy." LOVE them.
This surgery is soooo worth it if it means that I can have another precious gift from God....my boys are worth every single thing that Eric and I went through to get them here.

Surgery.........
So....tomorrow is the day!
I will take my horribly gross magnesium citrate as soon as I leave Gavin's football game. I was supposed to start it at 5 but I REALLY don't want to miss his game so I am putting off....uh I mean postponing this not so fun part. Honestly, I forgot that I had to do this until I went to my pre-op appointment today.
Anyways...I have to be at the hospital at 10 tomorrow morning and the surgery is scheduled for 11:30. Just in case you are wondering....this surgery is for endometriosis. It is done laparoscopically so it is outpatient. However, this is my 2nd time having it (the 1st was before I got pregnant with Gavin)....according to the Dr. H it is harder the more you have it due to scar tissue, etc. I am not a big fan of having surgery......so all prayers would be appreciated.
Also, please pray that the surgery will be a "success" and Eric and I can add to our family very soon.
I'll keep you posted!!!
