Baby Update!

Baby's now the size of a naval orange!

Continuing the march toward normal proportions, baby's legs now out-measure his arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably can't feel the movements just yet.

Well, I had my appointment yesterday.  Everything looks great!  I got to hear the baby's heartbeat which is always fun!  The heart rate was 146--according to my online sources, above 140 is a girl!  Now I know that is not completely accurate but I will take it.
We did get the date for the big ultrasound--June 1st.  We are very excited to find out.  However, it is not fair that certain people (LORI and BROOKE) are getting to find out before me when I am due before them.  Obviously, I am kidding but I am dying to know what this little baby is!
I gained 4.5 lbs since last month which brings my total to 5.5 lbs.  Considering that I was 15 weeks and 3 days at that appointment that is MUCH better than with Gavin and Nolen so I am not going to complain.
The boys are getting super excited!  Nolen has been having some issues with leaving me at school and church.  I'm not really sure if it has to do with the baby or just a phase but it is not fun!
He said the other night as I was carrying him to bed (which I am not going to be able to do much longer) that when the baby falls out of my tummy, the baby can walk and I can carry him.  HA!
They are enjoying talking to the baby through the "microphone" (my belly button).  So cute!  I can't wait until they can feel the baby kicking.
I will update with my 16 week belly picture on Saturday!

Bah-ha-ha! You totally called me out! My ultrasound is 5/11. I know, it really isn't fair. Of course, being only 14 weeks 2 days at my appt, who knows if the baby will cooperate?
